Pediatric BP Reference is an offline numerical reference calculator for manually entered clinic blood-pressure values for ages 1–17.

Using the app

  1. Enter completed years and additional completed months.
  2. Select the applicable sex-specific reference.
  3. Enter recumbent length below age 2, or standing height from age 2, in centimetres or inches.
  4. Enter systolic and diastolic pressure in mmHg.
  5. Read the published guideline band and component comparisons. Expand Calculation details to inspect P90, P95 and every effective cutoff.
  6. Use Clear to remove the inputs.

The app clears inputs when you tap Clear or when it has been in the background for more than a minute, and it does not save a reading history. Copy result places a text summary on this device’s clipboard only when you tap it.

Calculation source

The calculator uses the 2026 Australian pediatric hypertension guideline, the NHLBI Fourth Report Appendix B regression method and CDC 2000 height LMS data. It uses one named standard globally and does not claim to implement each country’s local guidance.

Limitations

The output is reference information for entered numbers. The app does not measure blood pressure, diagnose, recommend treatment, monitor health or assess urgency. The calculation has been checked against published source anchors and 210 independently generated cases; it has not been reviewed or endorsed by a clinical body.

Discuss readings with a qualified healthcare professional before making medical decisions.
